The climate of Argentina varies depending on the latitude and geographical charactertistics of each region, in general it can be considered that the north is subtropical and tropical
(with the exception of the Mountains), with mild winters and warm and rainy summers. The center is temperate, while the south has a sub-polar climate, with mild summers and very cold winters. The Andes mountains range, which crosses the country from North to south has, on the other hand, very harshclimatic conditions, arid and extremely cold on the summits.
Buenos Aires has has avereage temperatures between 17C to 30C in summer and 6c to 14C in winter.
A successfull FAM TOUR organized by Tomas Greiner Travel in April 2008
From last April 06 to 14, a high-level FAM Tour organized by Tomas Greiner Travel took place; participants visited Buenos Aires, Bariloche and San Martín de los Andes in Patagonia, (southern Argentina).
The group was carried by LAN ARGENTINA, and we appreciate the excellent service and support provided.
Participants were able to enjoy the remarkable gastronomy and the best wines of Argentina ( and what a tribute they paid to food and drink !!! ) at restaurants particularly selected. They stayed at first class Hotels golf at some of the best courses in these cities.
In Bariloche the gruop could, apart from playing in outstanding courses such as “LLao LLao” and “Arelauquen Golf & Country Club”, receive a royal welcome from “Hotel Sol del Nahuel” (we lodge there for 2 nights ), where they tasted the typical crosswise roasted “Patagonian lamb” specially prepared for them, accompanied with excellent Malbec wines. At local restaurants, they could also taste the best beef.
In order to enjoy the excellence of the site, the group had an overnight stay at the famous “Llao Llao Hotel & Resort Golf-Spa”.
In San Martín de los Andes, the group stayed at the beautiful “Loisuites Chapelco” hotel, in whose golf course two rounds at this demanding course designed by Jack Nicklaus took place.
The group had dinner at a very nice restaurant downtown, where typical food such as Wild Boar, Deer, Trout, always accompanied by the best Malbec and Syrah wines, were offered.
Back in Buenos Aires, the group visited relevant projects currently in development, such as “Reserva Cardales Sofitel” to be inaugurated next August 2008 and the major Golf Project in South America, which is “Pilara” Golf course, with the stamp of “Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course”
They also visited and played very important golf courses such as Olivos Golf Club, Buenos Aires Golf Club, Pilar Golf Club, and others…..
They tooked part on a very instructive “City tour” in Buenos Aires for having a view of the main points of interest of this Cosmopolitan city, and attended the best Tango Show and Dinner of the city.
